Science StaffThe Science Learning Area

Mr Gary Dinsdale:  Our Head of Science, has provided curriculum leadership in our Science department for many years. Gary’s expertise in Upper School Physics and Chemistry is evident through the outstanding TEE Physics results his classes have achieved in recent years. Furthermore, Gary is an author of  textbooks for TEE Chemistry and he provides exemplary learning opportunities for his TEE students. Gary takes technology into his classroom at every opportunity and his professionalism causes him to go to great lengths with his preparation and presentation of valuable learning opportunities for his students. 

Ms Lisa Anderson:  Lisa is the newest member of the Science staff, having joined us in July.  Lisa is a very experienced Lab Technician but has brought a fresh approach to the job and is currently reviewing our resources to identify where appropriate additions can be suggested.

Mr Ric Danti:  is a long serving member of the Science staff at this school.  Mr Danti has embraced the use of IT in the classroom to encourage students to increase their depth of knowledge of science issues.  Mr Danti is passionate about Physics and Chemistry in the 21st Century. 

Ms Linda Henry:  brings with her a significant experience in Nursing, which enables her to add colour and real world examples of health and diseases to her Senior Science and Human Biology classes. 

Mr Rod Blitvich:  High profile techno wizard, engaged in all things digital.  Mr Blitvich loves pushing the boundaries with his students to introduce the latest technologies into his class to ensure students remain motivated and informed about science.  Rod relates well to the Years 11 and 12 students through the Human Biology course and how it will impact on their future as parents and in the workforce.
